Hosanna House

In keeping with its vision, Hosanna Foundation has opened “Hosanna House”, an orphanage, to provide a home for twelve orphaned little girls, ages 12 -14 years old, to raise them up to become all that God has created them to be.

“Hosanna House” provides a home for the children with nutritional food, education, mentoring, bible study and more to help raise a well rounded member of society. The two counselors who are on staff 24 hours a day ensure that the children have the proper support and direction to get them ready for school every morning. In the afternoon, the counselors bring the girls home from school, provide an afternoon snack, help them with their homework and get them ready for dinner. There is a daily bible study and prayer after dinner.

In addition to the two mentors, Hosanna House has hired a cook and a guard/gardener to provide care for the girls.

God has created these girls for a purpose and with our help their hopes and dreams can become a reality.

Soccer Saves Lives

While in Ethiopia, the founder of Hosanna, Ms. Tersit Asrat along with Mr. Terry Montgomery, a board member of Hosanna were presented with another opportunity for missionary outreach. They were asked to take on a responsibility to care for forty-four more boys and girls (twenty-two girls and twenty-two boys) in a rural part of Ethiopia –Wolkete- a small town located in the Gurage region. Wolkite is situated in the beautiful highland country, two and half hours drive from Addis Ababa.

The parents of these kids do not have adequate means to care for their children properly. None of these kids had a decent pair of shoes or clothe to wear. “You can tell at first glance that they live below poverty”. “We will be taking care of all their school and clothing needs” We have also started a soccer team for them to play their favorite sport.” Said Ms. Asrat.

God has called Hosanna Foundation to nurture and be an on-going part of the lives of these forty-four beautiful children so that they can become well rounded and a contributing part of the society where they live.

God blessed us with forty-four beautiful children to be a part of their lives to nurture and raise them to be a well rounded contributing part of the society they live in. We are grateful to the Lord for the opportunity He has presented to us to be used by Him to care for His children.

We need your monthly support to be able to meet our monthly obligation of $900 per month for “Hosanna House” project and additional $1,400 per month for the forty-four boys and girls of Hosanna Soccer Team.

Your contribution of any amount will help us care for God’s beautiful children. Please support us on a continual basis to insure proper care of our children in Ethiopia. We pray that the Lord will expand our territory to spread out to the other parts of Africa to offer the same opportunity to thousands of children who are suffering from poverty and homelessness.
